BoundarySeer

Update Software

We stand behind BoundarySeer and are committed to improving it. To this end, we have enabled you to check for software updates via the web.

Since BoundarySeer's release in March, 2001, we have posted updates a little more than once a month.

These updates include:

  • patches for any bugs you report or that we find in-house,
  • improvements to the interface, and a new help file that reflects these alterations,
  • new help features, such as any tutorials made available since you first installed the software,

And, updates make it easier for us to support you, since we only have to support the latest version.

How do I update?

1.1.9

7/1/04
Fixed bug in wombling standardized point data. Fixed bug in spatial network for fuzzy classified point data.

1.1.8.2

9/5/03
Improved handling of missing values in spatially-constrained clustering.

Improved project file serialization.

1.1.8

6/10/03
Fixed problem with location uncertainty routines.

1.1.6

5/13/03
Fixed problem with changing the axis in a scatterplot.

1.1.4

11/7/02
Fixed handling of multiple grid-ASCII files where the data fields were separated by multiple spaces.

1.1.3

4/17/02
Allowed subboundary analysis on a subset of variables on wombled point datasets.

1.1.2

3/19/02
Improved handling of cancelling data import during "calculating polygon adjacencies".

1.1.1

3/7/02
Combined BoundarySeer help and tutorial into single file.

Added divergent color option for polygon maps. Diverging color, however, will break old BoundarySeer projects.

1.1

1/18/02
  • improved removing a set of results from a BoundarySeer project
  • improved "distance decay" randomization procedure
  • improved visualization and exporting of clusters detected on raster data and then merged within BoundarySeer
  • fixed issue with non-square categorical rasters

1.09

1/4/02
  • changed map: queried polygon shown as selected
  • allowed import of grayscale jpeg files
  • improved visualization of clusters detected on polygon data

1.08

12/17/01
  • improved the create variable set dialog
  • allow user to create a variable set while clustering
  • allow clustering on a variable set
  • allow importing of several grid ASCII files
