Quick Tour 5: Local Indicators of Spatial Association

Compute Local Moran local indicators of spatial association (LISA) statistics for the number of owner occupied housing units in 1990 (Own90) in West Virginia and map them for each observation, by significance and by quadrant in the Moran Scatterplot. Note that the variable Own90 has a non-significant global Moran's I coefficient of 0.072 (first order contiguity, p = 0.26, randomization option).
