Job Summary

Develop software to meet client requirements/deadlines, building upon an extensive codebase for enhancements, as well as creating novel product. Work with a motivated team to create highly-functional, effective, and intuitive web applications.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, functional code – the software developer is responsible for maintaining code that is consistent with current best practices, and, most importantly, works well for the end user.
• Meet promised timelines – the software developer is responsible for knowing his/her own abilities, establishing a timeframe for completion, and delivering the goods on schedule.
• Communicate clearly, and honestly – the software developer is expected to give progress updates that are clear, measurable, and accurate, as well as notify managerial staff when issues require clarification before forward progress can be made.

Requirements

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Comfortable using/learning new technology, including adapting to unfamiliar programming languages.

• Previous experience developing web applications; proficiency with any of the following programming languages/databases:

Job Summary

Create consistent, high-quality web content on a regular schedule for posting on company website, blog, Twitter account, Facebook page, and LinkedIn profile. Generate sales communication newsletter to keep existing clients, as well as potential business leads, informed of recent happenings. Ensure strong web presence and apparent pulse to any and all onlookers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain company WordPress site on WP Engine – the marketing assistant will consistently update company website with novel content.
• Actively post and engage on social media accounts – the marketing assistant will link to relevant market content, highlight company website updates, and promptly reply to comments/inquiries made on social media.
• Generate company newsletter for dissemination to current clients and potential business leads – the marketing assistant will create a organized, informative, and aesthetically-pleasing newsletter to summarize recent events and advances.

QA Analyst

Seeking an organized, motivated, creative, detail-oriented, and computer-savvy individual to assist with software refinement through extensive testing.

The ideal applicant lives in (or is willing to commute to Pueblo, CO), can function effectively in a team setting, has moderate computer competency, and is motivated to positively impact the rapid development of software.

Job Summary
Test web applications to ensure that software is free of bugs, errors, and that it flows intuitively. Log tests, provide suggestions, and report issues to the development team.

Responsibilities
• Functional testing of computer software – the QA analyst will follow a narrative script to simulate client workflow.
• Freeform functional testing – the QA analyst will hunt down bugs through creative uses of the software (clicking around with a purpose).
• Design of narrative scripts for testing software – the QA analyst will work collaboratively with managerial staff to design, refine, and improve test scripts.
• Review bugs, and provide suggestions to development team – the QA analyst will need to articulate errors concisely and effectively to allow for rapid rectification.
• Working knowledge of software features and capabilities – knowing the software’s feature set allows the QA analyst to isolate specific features for testing.
• Test logging – the QA analyst will log all tests for company recordkeeping.
