About Us - Health & Environment
TerraSeer has a considerable track record offering software, training, and consulting for health and environmental researchers and managers. The software we sell was developed at our innovation partner BioMedware, using grants from the National Institutes of Health, specifically to study spatial and temporal patterns in disease and environmental characteristics.
We've got the expertise
TerraSeer's chief scientist, Geoffrey Jacquez, Ph.D. is a recognized expert in spatial analysis, geographic information science, and particularly applications to public health. Our other domain expert is Pierre Goovaerts, Ph.D., an expert in geostatistics and its applications to many fields, including soil science, cancer patterns, and health disparities. Geoffrey, and Pierre have published several studies analyzing health and environmental patterns, with others in the pipeline. Check the reprints page for citations.
Current customers include researchers at the CDC, state, regional, and local health departments, and university researchers from across the United States, Canada, Europe, and Australia.
